CORVID corporate website redesign

Wireframes, development and design of a new website for cyber security experts CORVID

Introduction

CORVID provides a range of SaaS cyber security solutions for businesses. I was employed as their lead designer - a first for the business - and introduced user research and great design to the organiation.

The CORVID website was in need of an update, with a specific goal of generating more leads for the business. The previous website looked dated, had some responsive issues and was generating low intrest from potential customers.

I first looked at who our target audience was, grouping potential customers and creating a set of five personas to cater towards.

I created a set of clickable wireframes to demo the new site to internal stakeholders. The new site aimed to be more user friendly, with clear signposting and useful content whilst also funneling users into getting in touch. The site featured:

My responsibilities

  • Understanding business requirements
  • Created initial designs & wireframes
  • Persona creation
  • Design of page templates
  • Creation of new imagery and assets
  • Building the site in Wordpress
  • An improved, clearer navigation
  • Better use of imagery and iconography
  • A focus on content
  • Fully responsive, mobile friendly pages
  • Clear CTAs encouraging potential customers to get in touch

Following stakeholder approval in the wireframes, I created the designs for the site, and developed all the site pages and modules in our chosen CMS Hubspot.
